Luigi Bosca is at San Martín 2044, Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo. The winery was founded by Leoncio Arizu in 1901 and is now run by the third and fourth generation of the family. That’s over 120 years of continuous winemaking on the same property.
Their wines are widely available in Argentina and abroad. The Finca Los Nobles line is the premium tier, with single-vineyard Malbec and Cabernet Bouchet being the standouts. The De Sangre range sits below that and offers good value. Luigi Bosca was also one of the first wineries in Mendoza to work seriously with DOC Luján de Cuyo certification.
Inside the property there’s a collection called Via Crucis del Vino, 14 painted sculptures that tell the story of the winery. It’s unusual and adds something different to the visit beyond the standard tour and tasting.
The winery mixes tradition with modern tech. They’ve updated equipment over the years without losing the character of the original buildings. Mayor Drummond is a short drive from Chacras de Coria. We include Luigi Bosca in our Luján de Cuyo wine tours.
