Alta Vista is at Álzaga 3972, Chacras de Coria, Luján de Cuyo. The winery was among the first in Mendoza to use a grape selection table, which means each cluster gets sorted by hand before it goes into the tank. That level of care shows in the consistency of their wines, even in difficult years.
Their lineup covers several price points. The Premium range is solid everyday wine, while the Alto and Terroir Selection labels are where things get interesting. The single-vineyard Malbecs from their Alizarine project are worth trying if you want to see what Chacras de Coria terroir tastes like.
The winery combines modern equipment with techniques they developed in-house. Their technical team has a hands-on approach, and the guided tour covers both the vineyard work and the winemaking process in good detail.
Alta Vista is in Chacras de Coria, one of the most accessible wine areas from Mendoza city. It’s about 20 minutes by car. We include it in our Luján de Cuyo wine tours, and it pairs well with visits to other nearby wineries like Clos de Chacras.
