Clos de Chacras

A boutique winery from 1921 in Chacras de Coria, renovated with its original structure intact. Has an on-site restaurant.

About This Winery

Clos de Chacras is on Monte Líbano s/n, Chacras de Coria. The winery was built in 1921 and later renovated, keeping the original structure and character intact while adding modern winemaking equipment. The mix of old and new is part of what makes it interesting.

It’s a boutique operation, so production is limited. They work mostly with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon from their surrounding vineyards. The wines are well made and tend to reflect the Chacras de Coria terroir, which sits at around 950 meters above sea level.

After the tour, you can have lunch at the winery’s restaurant. The food is built around local ingredients and paired with their wines. It’s one of the few wineries in the area where you can do the full visit-and-eat experience without having to drive somewhere else for lunch.

Chacras de Coria is one of the closest wine areas to Mendoza city, just 20 minutes away. We include Clos de Chacras in our Luján de Cuyo wine tours.
