Tempus Alba is at Carril P. Moreno 572, Coquimbito, Maipú. The winery sits on the Cordón del Plata, and the landscape around it is one of the better settings in the Maipú area. The name combines “time” (tempus) and “dawn” (alba), which the founders say reflects their long-term commitment to the land.
They work with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a few white varieties. The Tempus Alba Pleno is their top wine. The style balances modern winemaking tech with traditional approaches. Nothing too extracted, nothing too polished.
The visitor experience includes a tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a tasting. The winery also has a restaurant. It’s a good option if you want to combine food and wine in one stop without driving elsewhere.
Coquimbito is about 25 minutes from Mendoza city. We include Tempus Alba in our Maipú wine tours.
