Rancho e Cuero

A 3,000-hectare ranch in Tupungato belonging to the Palma family for over 200 years. Lodges, horseback riding and fly fishing.

About This Hotel

Rancho e Cuero is on Ruta 89 in La Carrera, Tupungato. The property covers 3,000 hectares and has belonged to the Palma family for more than 200 years. It’s a working ranch that opened to visitors who want something different from the typical wine-and-hotel routine.

There are two lodges with large windows framing the mountain range. The furniture is solid, the decor is Argentine ranch style with ponchos, leather work and wool blankets. Each lodge has a suite. The food is included and follows the same ranch tradition.

Activities go beyond wine. You can ride horses through the property, go trekking, try fly fishing or take a 4×4 excursion into the mountains. It’s a place for people who want landscape and rural culture, not just tastings.

Tupungato is in the Uco Valley. The ranch is close enough to wineries like Domaine Bousquet and Salentein for a day trip, but the main appeal here is the estancia experience itself.
