Amerian Executive is at San Lorenzo 660, opposite Plaza Italia and a few blocks from the main commercial area. The hotel has 77 rooms across 17 floors, with an elegant marble lobby that leans toward a European style.
What makes it different: six of the 17 floors are wine-themed, each decorated by a different Argentine winery. It’s a nice touch that fits the city’s identity without overdoing it. Rooms are modern with desks, LCD screens, WiFi and climate control.
The pool and solarium are on the 17th floor, which gives you a good view of the city and the mountains while you swim. There’s also a sauna and fitness center.
The location works well for walking around the city center. For wine tours, we pick up from the hotel for day trips to all three wine regions.
