Cooking Class: Argentina without Secrets
The Cooking Class is made at Dominio del Plata Winery (owned by Susana Balbo winemaker). The chef is inspired in Argentina’s fire technics for cooking. The objective is to teach to our guests different methods of cooking with fire: grill, wood oven, steal pan, iron cauldron, direct flame and wire. The class also includes the symbolic experience of the Mate, Argentinian traditional infusion. To continue, the chef makes and introduction on how to create a good cooking fire. Then, the dessert is prepared and the preparation of meat empanadas. Guests will make hash and folding, and then tourists taste their own creation. Afterwards, they select the technique for cooking the meat for their main course lunch: grill, wood oven, cooking disc, iron caldron, flame and wire. The chef will explain each one of those techniques. The garnish would be made, depended of the chosen technique.
